schools?

How realistic are their expectations of teachers and schools?

  • To be available at all times, even if it is during non-office hours

  • To teach their children good manners, which in fact, must first be taught at home

  • To maintain moral dignity and a clean image

  • To be a role model to their child

  • To be flexible in any situation they want

  • To be highly competent

​Their expectations are somewhat idealistic. They deemed teachers to be holy, one that has absolute perfection and cannot make disfavored demeanours. Sometimes, teachers are expected to provide everything from students to community needs, even if it is out of their capacity and limitation.
